Nord [6 P. 131]. The particular framework of a text depends, above all, on the medium through which a text is being transmitted. In written texts, super-segmental features are expressed through visual aids, such as italics, spaces or words in bold, punctuation and quotation marks, hyphens, parentheses, and so on. In spoken language, super-segmental features are expressed by means of acoustic means, such as tone, variations in diction and volume, and so on [6. P. 141].
