"Yumshoq kuch" (soft power) is the ability of states to influence others through attractiveness and cultural impact to enhance their own interests. This concept was introduced by the American political scientist Joseph Nye in the 1990s. Soft power is exercised more through culture, values, and political institutions than through military or economic strength
