Al-Xorazmiy his work "Hisob al-jabr va al-muqobala" is estimated to have been written around 820 years ago and is considered a cornerstone in the history of algebra. It systematized solving equations in linear and quadratic forms using algebraic methods of rearrangement and comparison. It presented the decimal number system and the hind-arab numerals, driving the development of algebra in Europe in the 12th century through its Latin translations
